INGREDIENTS

Rava/Ravai/Semolina/Suji - 1 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 pinch
Ghee/Clarified Butter - 5 tablespoons
Cashew nuts (halved) - 10
Raisins - 12 to 15

INSTRUCTIONS

1. To begin making the Rava Laddu Recipe - Firstly, Keep all the ingredients ready.

2. Heat a non-stick pan over a low flame and add rava/semolina/suji and continuously roast for 10 minutes.

3. Once roasted, transfer to a wide plate and allow to cool.

4. To Grind - In a mixer grinder, add roasted rava and pulse twice. Transfer to a plate.
(Do not grind the rava, just give them a pulse twice).

5. In the same mixer grinder, add sugar and grind to a fine powder.

6. Now, on a wide plate, combine rava, powdered sugar, cardamom and salt.

7. Heat ghee in a pan over a moderate flame and add cashew nuts and fry golden and then add raisins and fry until puff up. Turn off the flame.
(Do not burn cashew nuts and raisins).

8. Transfer fried cashew nuts, raisins and ghee to a rava mixture.

9. To make Laddu/Ladoo recipe - Combine all the ingredients together using a spoon.

10. Once the rava mixture is warm, use your hands to mix everything well.

11. Now, take a small portion in your palm and press tightly with your fingers to form an even ball.

12. Repeat the above step for the remaining rava mixture. Do it immediately.

13. Rava Laddu Recipe/Semolina Laddu Recipe/Rava Urundai Recipe is ready.

Important tips to make a tasty Rava Laddu Recipe/Semolina Laddu Recipe/Rava Urundai Recipe

1. While roasting rava, keep the flame very low. Do not burn the rava keep stirring continuously for 10 minutes.

2. Do not grind the rava to a fine powder, you only need coarse rava.

3. After adding hot ghee, combine all the ingredients together. When the rava mixture is warm, make laddus/ladoos immediately. Because once the rava mixture is cooled you cannot make ladoos.
