Thengai Paal Kadal Paasi Pudding Recipe/Coconut Milk Pudding Recipe is a simple and delicious pudding recipe made with kadal paasi/agar-agar and coconut milk/thengai paal as the main ingredients and flavoured with sugar, a pinch of salt, pistachios and mildly coloured with food colour.

Timing - 20 minutes + 2 hours
INGREDIENTS
Kadal Paasi/China Grass/Agar-Agar strips - 8 grams
Coconut Milk/Thengai Paal - 1 cup
Water - 500 ml
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Salt - 1 pinch
Pistachios (chopped) - 15
Pistachio-flavoured food colour - 1 teaspoon (or)
Green Food Colour - 1 pinch
INSTRUCTIONS
1. To begin making the Thengai Paal Kadal Paasi Pudding Recipe/Coconut Milk Pudding Recipe - Firstly, wash the kadal paasi strips/agar-agar strips in 2-3 exchanges of water and soak it in a cup of water for 10 minutes.
2. To Cook - Heat 500 ml water in a thick bottom vessel over a moderate flame and add soaked kadal paasi/agar-agar strips. Keep stirring for 5 minutes or until kadal paasi completely dissolves in water.
3. Now add sugar and a pinch of salt and stir until sugar dissolves in water.
4. Turn off the flame.
5. Now add coconut milk and food colour and mix well for 1-2 minutes.
6. And then, using the strainer filter the pudding mixture.
7. To Set - In a bowl, pour the pudding mixture and allow it to set for 10 minutes.
8. Now add pistachio on top of the pudding mixture.
9. Cover the bowl with a plate or plastic wrap and let the pudding set at room temperature for an hour.
10. Thengai Paal Kadal Paasi Pudding Recipe/Coconut Milk Pudding Recipe is ready.
