It is prepared with potato and capsicum as the main ingredients and flavoured with vegetables like tomato paste, ginger and garlic paste, coriander leaves, lemon juice and spiced with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. I would like to eat this recipe with soft chapati, onion raita combination and rasam, rice combination. I recommend you to try this Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe. You can even use this recipe as stuffing for aloo paratha and aloo samosa.

How to make Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe?/How to make Carom Seeds Potato Masala Recipe?
Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe/Carom Seeds Potato Masala Recipe is a simple, tasty and flavourful side dish recipe. You can easily make this Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe within 30 minutes and serve it as an accompaniment to rice or chapati.

INGREDIENTS
Potato - 2
Capsicum - 1
Tomato - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 teaspoon
Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
Coriander Leaves - 1 tablespoon
FOR SPICE
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
FOR TEMPERING
Oil - 3 tablespoons
Ajwain Seeds - 1 teaspoon
INSTRUCTION
1. To begin making the Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe/Carom Seeds Potato Masala Recipe - Wash, peel and chop the potato into your desired shape. Wash and chop the capsicum. Wash, chop and grind the tomato into a paste. Keep all other ingredients ready.
2. To Boil - Heat a kadai with 3 cups of water and boil the potato with some salt for 3-4 minutes. Do not overcook the potato just cook until soft.
3. Turn off the flame and strain the water completely.
4. To Cook - Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan add potato and fry for 1-2 minutes. Remove the potato from the oil and add chopped capsicum and fry for a minute and remove from the oil.
5. In the same pan add the remaining oil, add carom seeds/ajwain seeds fry for a few seconds. Then add ginger and garlic paste fry for a few seconds and tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
6. Now add all spice powders with some salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add capsicum and potato and saute for a few seconds.
8. Finally add lemon juice and coriander leaves and give them a mix.
9. Turn off the flame.
10. Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe/Carom Seeds Potato Masala Recipe is ready.
You can serve this Ajwain Aloo Masala Recipe/Carom Seeds Potato Masala Recipe with rice or chapati. You can even use this recipe as stuffing for aloo paratha and aloo samosa. If you do so boil and mash the potato completely and finely chop the capsicum. Skip step 4 and add to step 7 directly.
