Atta Ladoo Recipe/Wheat Flour Ladoo Recipe is a simple and quick Indian dessert. You can easily make this Atta Ladoo Recipe within 30 minutes and serve it as a snack or dessert recipe.

Serving - 13 to 15 Ladoo
Timing - 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS

Whole Wheat Flour/Atta/Godhumai Maavu - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon
Cardamom Powder - 4 (seeds only)
Cashew Nuts - 5 (chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. To begin making the Atta Ladoo Recipe/Wheat Flour Ladoo Recipe - Keep all the ingredients ready.

2. To Grind - In a well-dried mixer grinder, add sugar and cardamom seeds and grind them to a fine powder. Keep it aside.

3. To Roast - Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and add chopped cashew nuts and fry to a golden brown. Remove the fried cashew nuts from the pan and keep it aside.

4. Now heat the same pan over a low flame and add whole wheat flour and continuously roast for 12-15 minutes or until the colour changes from a light white colour to a biscuit colour.

5. Now add 3/4th part of the ghee from 1/4 cup of ghee.

6. Keep roasting this mixture for further 3-5 minutes. If you need some more ghee to mix the flour add the remaining amount of ghee and mix well.

7. Once the ghee is absorbed in the flour and colour changes to dark brown.

8. Turn off the flame.

9. To check the doneness of the cooked wheat flour and ghee mixture, sprinkle a few drops of water. If it gets sizzled, it is cooked.

10. Turn off the flame and add cashew nuts and mix well.

11. Transfer to a wide bowl or plate.

12. Let it cool for 1-2 minutes.

13. Now add powdered sugar and mix well.

14. When the heat is tolerable, apply the ghee on both palms and start to make medium lemon size balls.

15. Shape all the ladoo immediately.
