INGREDIENTS

Curd - 1 cup
Small Onions - 4
Green Chilli - 1
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Salt - to taste
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Water - 3 cups

INSTRUCTIONS

1. To begin making the Sambaram Recipe - Keep all the ingredients ready.

2. To Prep - Wash and peel the small onions and ginger.

3. To Crush - In a mortar and pestle, crush the green chilli, ginger and small onions.

4. To Make Sambaram - In a wide bowl, add the curd and salt.

5. Using the traditional thayir mathu/wooden beater, beat it for a few seconds.

6. Add water and beat it for 1-2 minutes or until nice froth forms on the top.

7. Finally, add the crushed vegetables and curry leaves.

8. Beat for a few seconds.

9. Sambaram Recipe is ready.
